LAURENCE LLEWELYN-BOWEN
Host, Past Designer

Flamboyant, leather-clad and totally over-the-top, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is a firm favorite with viewers but also, for some homeowners, their worst nightmare come true. Responsible for some of the most controversial designs on the show, Laurence's designs have reduced homeowners the length and breadth of the UK, to tears.

Originally trained as a fine artist in London before turning to the world of interiors, Laurence is known for his bold designs, mixing traditional with contemporary themes. He began by painting murals but his repertoire now ranges from sumptuous theaters, aircraft and millionaires' houses.

Laurence spent seven years as one of the favorite designers on Changing Rooms before transitioning to host.
