Who Are the Avengers?
The original Mulder and Scully, John Steed and Emma Peel investigate strange, seemingly impossible to solve crimes. They brush off dangers by keeping a dry sense of humor at all times.

Steed is an agent for the British government who employs the help of expert citizens, like Peel, to protect British interests and security. Steed is traditional, gentlemanly, well-mannered, averse to physical violence (unless absolutely needed), quite posh, and always ready to serve his country at a moment's notice.

Mrs. Peel is enlisted by Steed to help the secure the peace in the British homeland. She is a well-educated, well-mannered woman who breaks traditional stereotypes. Peel lives alone, is not afraid to use physical violence, and is adept at both martial arts and marksmanship.

What is their mission?
The Avengers main mission is to protect the British citizenry and the interests of the British government. Their specialty is cracking strange, seemingly impossible to solve cases.

Who are the bad guys?
Anyone who commits crimes against the British government or people.

What about the cars?
Steed's automobile of choice is the very British, very expensive, rather bourgeois Bentley. Mrs. Peel also drives a high-end British car. But her Lotus Elan S3 is a racy, modern, sleek vehicle in contrast to Steed's more traditional, if just as expensive, one.
