Mickey Smith
(Noel Clarke)Mickey was Rose's boyfriend - finally a real relationship! Mickey is a very grounded guy and found The Doctor and the whole time travel thing an intrusive and unwelcome interruption.
Though London-born Noel Clarke may be best recognized for his acting roles, he is also an accomplished writer. In 2006 he wrote the screenplay for the film Kidulthood and as well as its sequel, Adulthood, which he also directed and starred in. His other writing credits include "Combat" (an episode of the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood) and West 10 LDN, a pilot for BBC Three about kids on a rough housing estate. In 2003 he was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Most Promising Newcomer of 2002 for his performance in Where Do We Live at the Royal Court Theatre. He was also voted Best Male Guest Actor by readers of Doctor Who Magazine for his appearances in the 2006 Season.
