Bewitchingly handsome and possessing the confidence of one who has spanned the centuries, Azazeal is leader of the Nephelim, a band of fallen angels that have been around since the beginning of recorded time. He is also the father of Malachi, his rightful heir to the thrown of fallen angels and here to ensure that the balance of evil overrides that of good in the world. He is fiercely protective of his half-human son, for he knows the damage that can be inflicted by Ella Dee and how it would change the course of history if something should befall him. Along with the recent film projects A Bear Named Winnie and the BBC's The Return of Sherlock Holmes (with Rupert Everett), Michael Fassbender has a growing television résumé that includes Gunpowder, Treason & Plot (2004) and Band of Brothers. With his own production company, Peanut Productions, he produced, directed and performed in a stage version of Reservoir Dogs. Other film credits include Goldfish, Specks in the Sky and 300.
