Ella is insisting Cassie go back and regain Azazeal's trust. She's got to kidnap Malachai so that Ella can eliminate him and send the Nephilim back where they came from. I don't think that Cassie fully grasps that he's not a human child. Oh sure he looks innocent but hasn't she ever seen Rosemary's Baby or The Omen? He was just born and he's grown so big that he's walking already. I may not know much about kids, but I do know that newborns don't just walk out of their mum's fannies. I'm scared but at this point I don't know who to trust.

Ella got a visit from someone who is her family's representative. He arrived with a pretty swank looking wooden trunk. I was curious about its contents so I popped in to have a chat w/her about Cassie while she was opening it. I pulled this metal sword looking thing out and suddenly sparks flew and I blew up a vase. She told me that these were tools to be used in the ritual that will put an end to Cassie's baby. She wants me to stop interfering but there's no way I'm letting her out of my sight. Cassie's life could be at stake.

In other news, Roxanne sure is barking up the wrong tree. She's set her hormones on Jez the new teacher, who just happens to be a priest but since when did protocol stop her? She's completely playing him...feeding him a good line to get him all hot and bothered about gangbangs in Monaco and such...what a tart.

Cassie's a little too convincing with her maternal act. I'm really worried that Azazeal is getting to her. She's putty where he's concerned. Ella thinks that she'll find the strength to resist his charms, but I think that she's wrong. Meanwhile, Ella's turned our dorm floor into her own Sistine Chapel. She drew a hexogram to protect Cassie after she steals the baby. Standing inside it will keep her safe from Azazeal when he comes, and he will come. She knows Azazeal will stop at nothing to get the baby back. This magic she's conjuring really is quite amazing. All of a sudden the ice queen melted...Ella started telling me how Demons can deceive you with their beauty as well as tear you with their claws. I figure they can't be all bad...there have to be some rug munchers in the demon world that aren't too terrible.

The ritual must take place at midnight on consecrated ground. I just hope Cassie can go through with this. Ella ran off to prepare the altar for the sacrifice. Cassie and I curled up in the Hexogram and fell asleep. When we woke up Malachai was gone. Thankfully we found him, but Azazeal knows what we're planning. Cassie's weakening...must be quick about it. We got Malachai to the church, but Azazeal entered and started telling Cassie how much he loved her and the baby. I saw her crumble, she was giving into his lies. Ella knew she had to act fast but just as she was about to drive the knife in, Cassie reached for Malachai and was stabbed instead. I held her as she lay dying and then she just disappeared into dust. I don't know how I'll go on without her.
