Wasn't exactly my idea of a good time, sneaking into the car while Cassie and Troy were snogging the faces off each other, but I had to tell her what I'd seen. She was too busy shouting at me to hear, so I shouted back - you're a McBain - you're related to Rachel. Your dad's name is James McBain - it's in the school records. Well, then...that soon shut her up.
Cassie visited her mum and was really upset afterwards. Apparently she's a witch as well, but I could've told her that. Life had dealt her a shitty hand. Her father disappeared, her mother's a nutter, and her best friend's a lesbian ghost. I suppose I haven't helped either, but I've got no one else to talk to. If she's sick of me now, I can't imagine what it's going to be like in 10 or 20 years!
While Cassie slept, I found more of her weird doodlings. She soon woke up after another nightmare where again she'd seen Esther hanging from a rope. She can't work out what's going on, so I told her my theory. I think whatever happened to Esther is going to happen to her...
Next morning, Cassie went to see her mum again. She gave Cassie a necklace that is meant to protect her. It's a bit bling, but it would help if she actually wore it. Her mum does know about fallen angels, and she wouldn't have given it to her if it wasn't important. Finally she put it on. Very J-Lo.
Leon, Roxanne and some others were taking the piss out of Troy about Cassie. Leon apologized, but then made another joke about it. Troy said if he didn't shut up he'd kill him - and he looked serious. Then he lit a cigarette, and I saw that his eyes were filled with blood. I had to tell Cassie straight away. I told her that he was possessed, but she wouldn't listen. I needed time to prove it, but she was going out to dinner with him, end of story. She told me to get it into my thick head that she was sick of me and warned me to stay away from her, or she'd never talk to me again. After she left, I looked everywhere but couldn't find her. When I eventually found her it was too late. Troy had done what he needed to do...
