Had enough of your family? Tune in to My Family - it'll make you feel better! Robert Lindsay (G.B.H, Oliver Twist) and Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Gormenghast) star in a multi-award winning comedy by acclaimed U.S. sitcom writer Fred Barron, whose credits include Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show, and Caroline in the City.
Ben and Susan Harper (Robert Lindsay and Zoë Wanamaker) have been married happily enough (and long enough) to have three children. One of Ben's recurring problems is that most of the time his children seem to speak a different language. In fact, he often suspects that they may be a different species, which, of course, like most offspring in varying stages, they are! And with the Harper household now home to his children's lovers, friends, and babies, Ben finds himself praying to the gods for an empty nest.
The Harper family returns for a whole new season of marital bliss and family bonding. This season, Ben meets an old college friend who's now a woman, Susan gets arrested for shoplifting, and the whole family airs their dirty laundry to the entire country when they compete on The Weakest Link.
Settle in and soak up the dysfunction. | |
