Jo started working in documentaries nearly 20 years ago and has a wealth of experience working on many award-winning productions. During her time at Darlow Smithson she was responsible for the ‘Alive‘ series and produced 10 drama docs shot in many overseas locations. One of Jo’s proudest achievements there was when she was Production Supervisor on ‘One Day in September,’ which won an Oscar.
Her passion to improve the world led her to Jamie Oliver and the Schools Dinners campaign, and she has been heading up production ever since. While being at Fresh One, Jo has been involved with and overseen numerous projects, with food programs being Fresh One’s specialty. Jo has worked extensively with Jamie Oliver, as well as other chefs such as Antonio Carluccio, Gennaro Contaldo, Jimmy Doherty, Sophie Dahl, and Aaron Craze. As well as cookery shows, Jo has been involved with other wide-ranging shows produced by Fresh One, which are filmed throughout the UK, and the rest of the world. Her filmography includes, ‘A South American Journey with Jonathan Dimbleby,’ ‘An African Journey with Jonathan Dimbleby,’ ‘Two Greedy Italians,’ ‘Streetdance,’ ‘Dance, Dance, Dance,’ ‘Art of Cornwall’ and ‘Jamie’s Dream School’ to name but a few.
Jo became part of the senior management at Fresh One in 2006.
Cody Utzman is ‘Mr. Seen it All and Done It All’. Since becoming a cook at 17 years old, he has traveled the globe using his culinary skills to get from place to place.
