Very Berry Smoothie

(Makes 4 glasses)


  • 2 bananas
  • 3 cups frozen or fresh mixed berries
  • 4 cups apple juice / or milk
  • This recipe makes a thick smoothie like a milkshake, if you want it a bit thinner just add more juice.  Whizz all ingredients together in a big blender until smooth.  Use frozen berries if you want an extra cold smoothie.
  • Use milk if you want a creamier tasting smoothie, or apple juice for a more refreshing smoothie.  Also I sometimes like to add a spoonful or two of natural yoghurt.  Experiment, have fun and make your healthy fruit smoothies your own creation.
