More than one-third of the Fleet has followed the lead of deposed President Roslin, splitting from Galactica and jumping into orbit around Kobol. But tensions arise within the rebel ranks as Tom Zarek and his security Chief, Meier, face off with Lee for power under the President.
Those tensions increase when Kara and Helo return from Caprica with the pregnant Cylon Sharon. Roslin orders Sharon put to death, but soon learns that she might be their best hope for finding the Tomb of Athena and the route to Earth.
Galactica’s chief mechanic Tyrol is firm, fair and often so strongly loyal that he tends to become recklessly irrational when someone close to him is in danger.
After the initial Cylon attack, Roslin was thrown into the role of President of the Twelve Colonies while simultaneously struggling with cancer and discovering her place as spiritual leader.
