I saw Control last night (overhyped, trust me), but there’s a running joke in it about the Buzzcocks. I suspect you can guess what the joke is about. Anyway, it inspired me to post my favorite Buzzcocks song, which would be “Promises.” And there’s a cheeky little video for it. From 1978.
