Gwyneth Paltrow is ridiculously successful and just as famous, but she doesn’t let it get to her head and seems really fun. She took a minute to sit down with the folks over at Netflix and take part in The BFF Test.

In the below clip, Paltrow introduces her BFF (best friend forever) Kevin Keating. They have known each other for ten years and he’s also her right-hand man. The two seem to know each other pretty well and put it to the test.

The back and forth kicks off with the two touching upon the touch-y subject of the “vagina candle” sold by Paltrow’s lifestyle site goop (yep, they lowercase the “g” in the name.) While a conversation piece, we’re more interested in the pop culture topics, like question No. 3 (at 1:47, if you want to fast-forward), where Paltrow asks Keating, “What is my least favorite performance?” That is so awkward, but… he gets it right.

Well, sort of. Keating answers, “Shallow Hallow,” but the name of the movie is Shallow Hal. Either way, we get the gist.

You can see Paltrow’s response to his guesstimate in the below:

She doesn’t actually confirm his answer, nor does she defer it. She does laughingly say, “See what happens when you’re not around? Disaster.” Okay, well, that could act as verification.

2001’s Shallow Hal received a lot of criticism for shaming people who are overweight. In 2006, Paltrow addressed the role when talking to W magazine, saying, “The first day I tried [the body suit] on, I was in the Tribeca Grand [hotel in New York City] and I walked through the lobby. It was so sad; it was so disturbing. No one would make eye contact with me because I was obese,” reports the U.K.’s Telegraph.

At the time of the above interview, she didn’t necessarily come out and say she regretted the role but came across as conflicted, even if retrospectively.

But, this BFF Test pretty much put the nail in the coffin for Shallow Hal.

Do you appreciate her candidness?
