We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, Daniel Radcliffe can sign on for any project he likes these days. And, make it work.

You can look for him next in the action-comedy Guns Akimbo, releasing February 28.

His next project sounds slightly bizarre. He plays a young man named Miles, and he lives a pretty humdrum life, spending most of his time at work daydreaming about his ex-girlfriend Nova (Natasha Liu Bordizzo). Things go from boring to absolutely insane when a clandestine group, known as Skizm, picks random strangers and forces them to fight to the death.

In the new clip for the movie, we see him running down a path in the park, with his pants down, and diving into a car as an escape:

His ex-girlfriend is at the wheel of the car, but she doesn’t seem to get the urgency of his request to go, telling him, “I’m not driving anywhere until you chill.”

Umm, does she see the girl (Samara Weaving) trailing him with a bazooka? Apparently, not.

This story is wild, but we’re going to go with it. You can also look for Radcliffe in the second season of Miracle Workers, playing a prince who struggles with his royal duties of murdering villagers.

Are you up for seeing Daniel Radcliffe in another quirky role?
