Tuppence Middleton (The Current War) is set to star in the forthcoming drama-thriller Disappearance at Clifton Hill, reports ComingSoon.net.

As the title suggests, the story revolves around a missing person, but the only one who knows about the disappearance is Middleton’s character Abby. When she was a little girl she came across an older boy in the woods, and she saw him picked up and thrown into a car. She’s an adult now and what happened, or didn’t happen, still weighs on her.

But no one seems to believe her. At least, at first.

When Abby starts asking around, some people do push back, as if they do know something.

The creep-factor is extra in the just released trailer:

While it’s mentioned in the above trailer that the boy’s body was found at the bottom of the gorge, and it’s too late to save him from an unfortunate fate, it’s not too late for accountability.

And, just like that, we’re hooked. We’re intrigued to learn what just did happen to the boy with one eye. And, if Abby will survive her amateur sleuthing.

Disappearance at Clifton Hill will be in theaters and available via VOD on February 28. In addition to Middleton, you can also look for David Cronenberg (Alias Grace) and Hannah Gross (Joker).
