First Daniel Craig announces No Time to Die being his last go as James Bond and then the first trailer releases… it’s like this was planned!! Side-note: it probably was.

With that said, this is a teaser trailer, with the official feature trailer coming out Wednesday (December 4). We felt it worthwhile to go with the first-first look and can update this space with the follow-up trailer. And, what can we expect in the next installment of Bond?

The clip starts off with the iconic theme music, bringing us back into the story. We see a very thick, cement door rising up to reveal Craig as Bond. He looks to be wearing a prison uniform. If that is the case, it’s not for long, as we then jump to him getting out of a posh car, smartly dressed. The steering wheel is on the right and based on the surrounding buildings, he appears to be in the U.K. or Europe.

What else can you make out from the first look footage?

We will say, the machine guns coming out from under the headlights of another fancy car are a nice touch.

In addition to Craig, we can look for Ralph Fiennes as M, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter. We can also look for new faces to the franchise like Dali BenssalahBilly MagnussenAna De ArmaDavid Dencik, Lashana Lynch and Rami Malek.

No Time to Die hits theaters on April 8.

Updated on December 4 at 11:30am EST: As promised, here is the new-new trailer, which just released today.

Any plans on how to prepare for this final installment?
