It’s been 50 years since the first man walked on the moon… and now it’s the first dog’s turn. Not just any dog, the famed Snoopy.

Charlie Brown‘s beloved companion Snoopy goes on the adventure of a lifetime in the forthcoming Apple TV special Snoopy in Space. The first look trailer gives us an idea of what to expect:

Hmm, is it possible Snoopy is daydreaming in the above clip and not actually frolicking in space? It’s hard to say, because Snoopy is a fighter pilot, at least in his head, and if he believes it to be real… that’s good enough for us.

According to Den of Geek, Snoopy does take a trip to NASA with Charlie and the gang, and he’s nominated to go on a mission to space. So, the special might be a hot mix of both daydream believin’ and an actual out-of-this-world experience for the fearlessly ambitious dog.

In the meantime, you can continue to enjoy BBC America’s Space Week, with programming rolling out all this week.

Speaking of going to space, check out our recent Anglo post putting a spotlight on ten women and ten missions.

Are you a daydreamer like Snoopy?? Where do your dreams take you!?
