Emma Roberts (Scream Queens) takes the lead in the forthcoming sci-fi thriller Paradise Hills, reports ComingSoon.net. She plays a character named Uma, who wakes up in a very intense finishing school.
The first look trailer released yesterday (July14):
The Paradise Hills facility takes in young women who aren’t quite living up to their potential, at least according to their parents. The girls are provided with lessons and treatments that will help fix their “shortcomings” within two months.
But, of course, what if the girls don’t think they need to be fixed? Uma is not super keen about what she’s been thrown into and fights to make her escape.
In addition to Roberts, you can also look for Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element), Akwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Eiza González (Baby Driver), Danielle Macdonald (Bird Box) and Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again).
This is director Alice Waddington‘s feature debut.
You can look for Paradise Hills in theaters on November 1.
