Keanu Reeves is all over the radar these days. His film John Wick: Chapter 3 is currently in theaters. He’s doing the rounds to promote the film, swinging by The Ellen Show (where he admitted a crush on Speed co-star Sandra Bullock.)
There’s even news items about what a gentleman he is, like when taking photos with fans. Time magazine went so far as to name him “the Internet’s soul mate.”
And, now, there’s even more talk about him, with producer extraordinaire Kevin Feige nominating him to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
This has been on his mind for a while now, with Feige saying, “We talk to him for almost every film we make,” reports Empire. That’s a lot of films, going back to 2000’s X-Men.
“I don’t know when, if, or ever he’ll join the MCU, but we very much want to figure out the right way to do it.”
Reeves joined the Toy Story franchise this year, providing the voice to the stuntman toy Duke Kaboom. He also made a cameo in the 2019 love story Always Be My Maybe.
ICYMI, here’s a clip of him playing an exaggerated version of himself:
