A year after her rollicking E! drama series The Royals ended, Elizabeth Hurley is returning to TV in season three of Marvel’s Runaways.

The British actress will appear in the Hulu series as Morgan Le Fay, a supervillain who has been granted immortality and used the time to master the mystic arts. A witty and highly skilled sorceress with a taste for black magic, Le Fay sounds like the sort of role Hurley will really rip into.

“Elizabeth Hurley is joining the Marvel Universe and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her portraying one of the most enchanting Marvel characters,” the show’s executive Jeph Loeb told Variety.

Hurley previously worked with Runaways showrunners Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage on teen drama Gossip Girl, in which she portrayed Diane Payne during the show’s fifth season in 2011-2012. That and the 2011 Wonder Woman TV movie marked Hurley’s acting comeback after several years spent focusing on her business ventures, which include the Elizabeth Hurley Beach range of swimwear and accessories.

Before that, she was best known for her movie roles in Bedazzled, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and EDtv.

Later this year, Hurley will also be seen in the rom-com movie Then Came You, in which talk show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Craig Ferguson show off their acting chops as a would-be couple falling for one another in the Scottish highlands.
