Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan are teaming up on-screen for the first time, starring in the action film The Foreigner.
The pairing seems to make sense with Chan kicking butt and taking names in the Rush Hour series and Brosnan saving the world one Bond film at a time (GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day).
Chan portrays a businessman in London, whose teenage daughter is murdered as part of a revenge plot. He’s pushed beyond his limits and there is no turning back. He frantically searches to identify the killers, calling on the aid of a British government official, played by Brosnan.
It’s not 100 percent clear if these two will be on the same side, though. But, that’s okay… a little cat and mouse never hurt anyone (well, actually, on second thought, it could end in death).

GoldenEye and Casino Royale director Martin Campbell will take the lead on The Foreigner.
