There’s good news today (June 30) for anyone champing at the bit for more Peaky Blinders. The BBC just tweeted the first official photo of Cillian Murphy in season four, and as ever he looks ready for action.

“Soon”? What does “soon” mean, exactly? OK, so as air date announcements go, this one is more than a little vague. It does look likely, however, that the new season will air in the U.K. later this year (we’ve got our fingers crossed for fall), and, if earlier seasons are anything to go by, then expect a launch on Netflix in the U.S. soon after.

There’s a lot to catch up on. The third season of Peaky Blinders ended on an almighty cliffhanger with the whole criminal clan being thrown behind bars, but recent set photos seem to show them out and running the streets of Birmingham, England, once again.

There’s also the addition of Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody, in a role that was reportedly written especially for him by series creator Steven Knight. Also joining the cast this time around are Game of Thrones‘ Aidan Gillen and Happy Valley‘s Charlie Murphy.

And then of course there’s Tom Hardy and Helen McCrory, who’ll be reprising their roles of Jewish gang leader Alfie Solomons and Tommy’s aunt Polly respectively, not to mention Charlotte Riley, who returns as champion horse trainer May Carleton from season two.

Are you excited to catch up with the Shelby gang?
