Channing Tatum, Riley Keough, and Adam Driver may be the stars of upcoming comedy Logan Lucky, but if a trailer released yesterday (May 28) is anything to go by, it’s James Bond star Daniel Craig who steals the limelight.

He plays Joe Bang, a peroxide cropped convicted felon who’s light years from 007. Three down-on-their-luck siblings played by Channing, Riley and Adam call on him in prison to help with their crazy plan. They want to break into a vault at the Charlotte Motor Speedway during legendary NASCAR race the Coca Cola 600.

The whole caper comes courtesy of Steven Soderbergh, who’s reunited with his Magic Mike star Channing, and promises a heady mix of car racing action, a heist drama and madcap comedy.

And sure enough, Daniel looks like he could have just walked straight out of the fabled Xquisite strip club in Tampa. From his exaggerated southern accent, to his closely shaved blond hair and jacked-up arms, he also displays an unexpectedly impressive comedic talent; something he might consider should he be contemplating a change in direction any time soon.

And if the prospect of Daniel mugging for laughs isn’t enough to entice you, then the movie also stars Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant), Family Guy‘s Seth Macfarlane, Dawson’s Creek‘s Katie Holmes, Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), and Oscar winner Hilary Swank.

Logan Lucky opens in theaters this August 18.
