J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series and more recently Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is not one to shy away from Twitter. Actually, it’s just the other way around, she seems to use it as a vehicle to get her voice out.

And, what is she up to now? Oh, you know, responding to a fan, who asked about the status of the script for the sequel for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them:

It may seem like Rowling is being unnecessarily blunt by calling the fan, “Woman,” in all caps, in the above, but if you see the original Tweet, that’s what the author was on the receiving end of:

Pah! She’s just giving it back, with some slight ribbing.

We can’t say Rowling replies to all of her fans’ inquiries, but she does reply to a surprising amount. Apparently back in 2009, people were tweeting as the famed writer, with fans believing it to be her voice and thoughts, so she took matters into her own hands:

Go, you, Jo!

It sounds like her visit to Twitter was meant to be a quick check-in, but actually Rowling regularly posts updates in the Twittersphere. And, we like it.

You can get to know the fiction author a little better with these 50 quotes we’ve collected, some from news articles, interviews, and you guessed it… her own Twitter account.

Alright, circling back, now we know, the script for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 has been completed — the hard part is over — now, we’ll just have to be patient and look for casting updates and a premiere date, which is predicted for 2018.

And, as we reported earlier, the Fantastic Beasts series will span FIVE movies. We have a ways to go…
