Actors Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) are currently filming the adaptation of Agatha Christie‘s Murder on the Orient Express, directed by Kenneth Branagh. During their downtime, Gad has been tenaciously trying to find out more details about the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, where Ridley will reprise her role as Rey.

In his first attempt, he invited Ridley to his trailer for a chat. He tried to “trick” her into spilling some deets by pretending he needed the info for their current project. She was onto him and held strong, which you can watch here. He even tried to negotiate with Ridley by giving up spoilers for Frozen 2, but it was no deal. Gad felt bad and had a follow-up conversation with Ridley to apologize. His apology seemed genuine, and the two moved on and started to go over the script for Murder on the Orient Express. Except Christie’s lines were replaced with Gad’s words, “Who are Rey’s parents? Am I a Jedi? Is Finn paralyzed from the waist down?”

With two failed attempts under his belt, Gad has called in Dame Judi Dench for support. Ridley arrived to Gad’s trailer, not up for any funny business, announcing, “Josh. I am not answering any of your Star Wars questions.” He humbly agreed, “No. Daisy. No, you’re not,” and as the camera pans, he continues on, saying, “You’re answering her Star Wars questions.”

Clad in an Obi-Wan Kenobi style robe, Dench is prepared. Does she have the force with her to get some answers?

How would you handle yourself in an interrogation with Dame Judi Dench?
