Admittedly, we may be guilty of talking about Sherlock a lot these days. But, in our defense, it has been three years since we’ve spent any quality time (more than a Christmas special, that is) with the British sleuth (Benedict Cumberbatch) and his companion, Doctor John Watson (Martin Freeman).

And we’re not the only ones reveling in the newest season, with co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss (who also stars in the series as Mycroft) set to take over Twitter this evening (8pm U.K. time/3pm Eastern Time in the U.S.) to host a live Sherlock case… The pair will take on the persona of Sherlock Holmes himself.

If you have Sherlock on the brain and want to test out your crime-solving skills, you can head over to the BBC One Twitter page for the event this evening. Please arrive prepared, like Sherlock would, with the hashtag #SherlockLive, which will keep you in “the game.”

It appears BBC One is already on the case:

We sure do hope this happens:

Oh, this is going to be A LOT of fun. Let us know how you do!
