Where do we even start?? As the headline says, the animated ’80s series DuckTales, featuring Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, is making a comeback next year.

And who’s starring in it? Our very own fan favorite David Tennant will be providing the voice for the elder Scotsman, Scrooge McDuck himself. If this was solely a casting announcement, we’d still be filled with glee, but to mark the moment, Tennant and his castmates are performing the theme song in a recently released video.

We could rattle off who’s playing who, but the clip contains the actors and their roles, making life simpler for everyone:

Here’s the lineup: Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) will voice Louie, Ben Schwartz (House of Lies) will voice Dewey, Danny Pudi (Community) will voice Huey, Kate Micucci (Big Bang Theory) will voice Webby, Toks Olagundoye (Castle) will voice Mrs. Beakley, Beck Bennett (Saturday Night Live) will voice Launchpad McQuack, and, once again, David Tennant (Doctor Who) will voice Scrooge McDuck.

“DuckTales, whoooOOOooo.” Yep, it’s catchy, and now we have the song in our head.

Do you have a soft spot for the children’s series (which is perfectly acceptable for adults to watch, too)?
