The folks over at Logan have been dropping first look photos left and right.
In addition to some earlier clues, we got a look at an on-set photo this past Friday (October 14) asking a loaded question:
In this case, patience appears to be a virtue, because director James Margold has helped answer the above question with a tweet from earlier today (October 17):

The Twitter update doesn’t include a caption but instead features some stats on the camera and photography. That may have been an oversight or done on purpose, but either way here are some details on the character: Stephen Merchant, pictured above, is set to portray an albino mutant named Caliban.
If anyone can find the aforementioned missing mutants it’s Caliban. He has the ability to sense and track “others of his kind,” according to ScreenRant. That’s presuming he’s on the same side as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Professor X (Sir Patrick Stewart).
Caliban made a brief appearance in X-Men: Apocalypse, portrayed by Tómas Lemarquis.
Logan hits theaters on March 3, 2017.
