You know what it’s like; you’re trying to keep a straight face, but your mates won’t let you.

That’s exactly what happened last night (September 5) at the TV Choice Awards in London, when Tom Hiddleston beat some stiff competition in the form of Peter Capaldi, Cillian Murphy, and Jim Carter (Downton Abbey) to win Best Actor for his turn in The Night Manager.

Clutching his award, Tom began his acceptance speech in the same gracious manner we’ve become accustomed to, thanking everyone and complimenting them on how lovely they look.

So far, so swoon.

He then apologized for not being at the awards show in London in person, as he is currently in Australia filming Thor: Ragnarok, the latest installment in Marvel’s Thor franchise.

The trouble is, he’s not the only one. Watch what happened next:

Yep, joining him is Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the movie, followed by Idris Elba, who’s also back for the Norse god’s third outing in the guise of all-seeing, all-hearing Heimdall, as well as a bunch of particularly noisy crows.

Each was a little hurt they hadn’t been nominated—Idris for Luther, and Chris for, ahem, Home and Away, the Australian soap that gave him his big break—before finally offering their congrats to Tom, Idris saying “hello” to his mum, and Chris giving one final shoutout.

Other winners on the night included Sarah Lancashire (“Best Actress”) for her performance in Happy Valley, Doctor Foster (“Best New Drama”), Call the Midwife (“Best Family Drama”), The Great British Bake Off (“Best Talent Show”) and Downton Abbey (“Best Drama Series”).

But it was Tom, Chris and Idris who got most attention. Anyone else spot a future triple act in the making? Now that is a show we’d love to see.
