We’re all gearing up for the October 22 premiere of BBC AMERICA’s new comedic thriller Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. But few are more excited to see the brilliantly trippy series hit the air than Dirk‘s cast, who’ve just recently completed shooting in Vancouver.

Dirk star Hannah Marks—who plays Amanda, wild and impulsive sister to Todd (Elijah Wood)—sat down with Anglophenia’s Maude Garrett to chat about what we can expect in the opening episodes. She draws a comparison between Max Landis‘s vision of Dirk Gently and a certain off-kilter 1998 film classic starring Jeff Bridges. So Douglas Adams meets the Coen Brothers? We’re waving our towels and chilling our white Russians in anticipation. Watch the interview below:
