Ava DuVernay‘s next project is a big change for the Selma director: She’s set to helm a Disney movie adaptation of children’s classic A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.

Regular collaborator and everyone’s favorite fairy godmother Oprah Winfrey is already in the frame to play Mrs. Which, but the Hollywood Reporter is now reporting DuVernay has now locked down the other two as well. Currently in talks to play mysterious old woman Mrs. Whatsit is Reese Witherspoon, while Mindy Kaling is down to play quotation-loving Mrs. Who.

All three ladies will give guidance, protection, and direction to the four child protagonists as they travel through time, span entire galaxies, and visit strange worlds to find their missing scientist father.

There’s no word yet on who’ll play the children, though expect the job to be as sought after as the three main Harry Potter roles were back in the day. A Wrinkle in Time features Meg Murry, a 13-year-old girl who sets her awkwardness and resentment aside to rescue her father, who’s been imprisoned by extraterrestrials, and her genius little brother Charles Wallace.
