Now, we are no jungle experts, so if you’ve come here looking for advice on your upcoming jungle expedition, then you have come to the wrong place (unless, of course, you are Tom Hiddleston in Kong: Skull Island, because in that case, we’re sure we can think of something …).

If pushed though, we may suggest you take plenty of bug repellant, and keep yourself covered when walking through all that undergrowth.

Y’know, sort of like how Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock) and Jack Black are dressed in this first image from the upcoming Jumanji reboot, posted by Kevin yesterday (September 20):

The reboot picks up where the original 1995 movie left off, which ended on a beach in France as two young girls found the Jumanji board game buried in the sand.

Other than that, we don’t know much, except that this sequel is based on a draft by original writers Chris McKenna and Eric Sommers, and features characters with the unlikely names of Dr. Smoulder Bravestone (Johnson), Moose Finbar (Hart), and Professor Shelly Oberon (Black).

And then there’s “Ruby Roundhouse,” played by former Doctor Who companion Karen Gillan. More than a few people noticed she was a little, shall we say, underdressed for her jungle trek, with an outfit that resembled less the recommended attire for an arduous expedition than a hand-me-down from Tomb Raider‘s Lara Croft:

Some people went as far as to fix it:

While others still suggested ideas for another reboot, on its way to our theaters in 2018:

The criticism seems to have made its way back to The Rock, because a few hours later he posted another picture from the same shoot, with the promise that Karen’s jungle wardrobe “will make sense when you know the plot”:

Hmm. Okay, Mr. The Rock. We’ll trust you.

Jumanji is set for release on July 28, 2017.

What do you think the plot could be?
