The countdown for Luke Cage has officially begun. The Marvel series is set to premiere at the end of the month, hitting Netflix on September 30.

Cage (Mike Colter) is a friend of Jessica Jones. We got to know him through her eyes, and we’re pretty sure we’re going to enjoy seeing him at full-force, holding down his own series.

As well, we’ve seen teasers of what to expect with the official trailer and this scene showing Cage in action.

Our perspective might be slightly skewed, having such a high opinion of Miss Jones. Of course her superhero friends must be just as cool.
