Woody Allen (Café Society, To Rome with Love) steps in front of the camera once again, starring in the six-part TV series, Crisis in Six Scenes, which he has created for Amazon Video.

Allen portrays novelist Sidney Munsiger. We meet Sidney at a barber shop in the 1960s. He shows his barber (Max Casella) a photo of James Dean as an example of how he wants his hair cut.

The barber doesn’t quite think he can pull it off, seen in the below clip:

Amazon has provided some background about the storyline, saying, Crisis in Six Scenes “is a comedy that takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States and a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down,” reports Rolling Stone.

This is Allen’s first project for TV, which he also directs. You can look for other familiar faces like Miley Cyrus, Michael Rapaport and Elaine May.

Crisis in Six Scenes premieres on Friday, September 30.
