We know Doctor Who star David Tennant can play bad so good, as shown with his role as Zebediah Killgrave in Marvel’s Jessica Jones series.

And now it looks like we’re going to get to see more of that side in the forthcoming film Bad Samaritan, reports Deadline Hollywood.

The description for the film is brief. The story revolves around two young car valets who use their insider knowledge to rob the homes of the people who entrust them with their cars and … keys. Apparently they hit up the wrong house.

It’s not confirmed what role Tennant will take on, but as of now we know only three characters. Our money is on him taking on the title role, the guy holding down the fort.

The film, written by Brandon Boyce (Wicker Park) and to be directed by Dean Devlin (The Librarians), is set to start shooting later this year in Portland, OR.

In the meantime, we can look for Tennant in the biopic Mad to Be Normal as psychiatrist R.D. Laing, premiering later this year. He’s also signed on to star in the comedy Fish Without Bicycles, set for 2017.

Do you prefer David Tennant as a baddie or a good guy?
