It’s the worst having a cold, especially in the summer when it’s hard to explain. Adele was forced to cancel a concert earlier this week, but she promised her fans she would do right by them in a video she posted to Facebook and Twitter.

Even though she was under the weather, the singer/songwriter got things sorted straight away. She’s already rescheduled the Phoenix, AZ concert for November 21.

It’s been made official via Twitter with a no-frills post:

If you missed her video from earlier in the week, Adele called in sick for her second performance at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. The stadium has a capacity of over 18,000 people.

She could have easily just been a no-show or tweeted a quick note to her peeps. But, nope, not Adele. She recorded a message apologizing to the concert-goers, recognizing the inconvenience it may cause some, particularly out-of-towners traveling to the show, but she was just too beat to perform.
