It looks like the Trainspotting sequel now has an official title, T2: Trainspotting, as seen in the recently released teaser trailer below.

And we also get a look at the original cast members returning 20 years later, including (in order of their introduction in the teaser), Ewen Bremner as Spud, Ewan McGregor as Renton, Jonny Lee Miller as Sick Boy, and Robert Carlyle as Begbie.

We also spot a train rumbling by to the upbeat rhythm of the band Underworld’s “Born Slippy,” which kicked off the original soundtrack and stirs up all sorts of nostalgic feelings.

You may have been missing Trainspotting and not even known it until hearing the music and seeing the lads standing all strong and proud:

Danny Boyle has made the return to direct T2: Trainspotting, which is expected to hit theaters in 2017.
