Ricky Gervais, co-creator and star of The Office, swung by SiriusXM to make a “top secret” announcement.

Lucky for us, we (and the rest of the Sirius listenership and YouTube viewers) are a part of his inner circle and are privy to the reveal.

And what is the big news? The David Brent-driven movie Gervais has been working on, entitled David Brent: Life on the Road, is heading to Netflix, reports Deadline. In his interview Gervais said, “Netflix has bought out the rest of the world again.”

Gervais is all about his project heading to the streaming service, believing he’ll have the ability to reach 20 million viewers versus a smaller amount if the film were hitting theaters with a limited release.

You can listen to the entire interview (slightly NSFW due to colorful language) over at YouTube.

Gervais portrayed David Brent on The Office in 2001 and 2002, which was followed by the U.S. version in 2005 starring Steve Carell as the lovable but clueless boss.

This isn’t Gervais’ first time working with the online service, he wrote, directed and starred in the Netflix original film Special Correspondents, starring opposite Eric Bana, America Ferrera and Vera Farmiga. Bana and Gervais portray a radio journalist and his technician, respectively, who fake their kidnapping but are actually hiding out in NYC. You can also find Gervais’ 2015 TV series Derek streaming via Netflix.
