The casting machine for the forthcoming Ocean’s Eleven reboot is in full-force.

The working title is Ocean’s Ocho. First Sandra Bullock was tied to the film as kind of the ring leader, playing George Clooney‘s character from the first film’s sister. Initially there were rumors Clooney might make an appearance, but for now that idea has been shelved.

Earlier this week, Cate Blanchett was confirmed to be playing Bullock’s right-hand man in the film.

Having Bullock and Blanchett on deck is enough to pique our interest, but it gets better with more casting updates rolling out.

Just today, both Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling have signed on to the project, reports ComingSoon.net.

The story is set to revolve around a group of female thieves— we presume eight based on the unofficial title—who plan to steal a necklace from the Met Ball.

Let’s see … Bullock, Blanchett, Bohnam Carter, Kaling … that’s four (yes, we are math wizards) … leaving four more roles to be filled.

Who do you think should round out Ocean’s Ocho?
