Former Doctor Who co-stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate are reuniting to co-host The Shakespeare Show, a star-studded tribute to William Shakespeare to mark the 400th anniversary of his death. Talent including Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Ian McKellen, and Dame Judi Dench will be joining them, and we have the first look at the trailer for the two-hour event coming to North American theaters this May.

Recorded live from Shakespeare’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, the event will explore the Bard’s influence on music, dance, opera, musical theater, and comedy.

Tickets are now on sale for the theatrical event in select U.S. theaters on May 23 via Fathom Events and in Canadian theaters May 26 with an encore on June 5 via Cineplex.

Watch the trailer below:

Joseph Fiennes, John Lithgow, David Suchet, Rufus Wainwright, Tim Minchin, Al Murray, Meera Syal, Alison Moyet, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Paapa Essiedu, Pippa Nixon, Alexandra Gilbreath, the Royal Ballet and the Orchestra of the Swan, and many more are also set to appear in the event.

This isn’t the first time Tennant and Tate have tread the boards together for Shakespeare: they starred in a London production of Much Ado About Nothing back in 2011.
