We’ve said it before, and we will say it again, “What can’t Idris Elba do?” Maybe we should stop saying that, because clearly the answer is: nothing holds him back.

In this case, Elba wows in the new The Jungle Book clip as Shere Khan. We almost forget that Elba himself isn’t on screen, with such a commanding performance, but is lending his voice to the ferocious tiger leader.

Needless to say, Khan is not keen on a man cub (Neel Sethi) being on his turf. A human child will grow up to be a man, and there isn’t enough room in the jungle for man and beast.
