You know what’s just around the corner: Valentine’s Day.

The short film 96 Ways to Say I Love You may or may not get you in the mood, depending on how you feel about the sometimes-stressful “holiday.”

Real-life married couple David Tennant and Georgia Moffett, who met on the set of Doctor Who, star in the short, but they aren’t coupled-up on screen. The film, almost 11 minutes long, depicts long-term couples who have shared those three little words numerous times and others who are about to make the exchange for the first time.

As the title suggests, there are a number of ways for love to make its entrance, but it doesn’t always work out as predicted.

96 Ways to Say I Love You, also starring Doctor Who alum Ingrid Oliver and Nina Sosanya, is light-hearted and fun, but with emotions running high throughout the film, there are some moments when expletives slip, so please note, the language in this clip may be deemed NSFW.

You can watch the entire short film over at Vimeo.

The short was written and directed by Daisy Atkins, with Georgia Tennant (she used her married name in the credits) producing.

Has the short inspired you to say, “I love you”?
