While Alan Rickman‘s final live-action film Eye in the Sky is not meant to be a tearjerker, we are still mourning his passing (understatement) and it may be hard to watch for some.

But, of course, it does give us some solace knowing we can still look forward to forthcoming performances, including the aforementioned war drama and hearing his voice as the Blue Caterpillar in 2016’s Alice Through the Looking Glass (May 27).

We can’t say we knew Rickman personally, but we did (and still do) adore him, and trust he’d want us to enjoy these moments rather than wallow in loss.
