The Downton Abbey stars have been making the American TV rounds ahead of the U.S. premiere of the stately costume drama’s final season, premiering Sunday, January 3. But their appearance last night on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was the best yet: Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, and Allen Leech were asked to do a scene from their oh-so-British series with good ol’ Yankee accents. And it’s amazing. Kind of disturbing yet thrilling. If only the Dowager Countess were present:
