If you were going to get anyone to try and explain Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which pertains to both space and time, who better to ask than the former Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who?

David Tennant was asked to narrate a special animation which explains where we all are in relation to the theory of general relativity on its 100th birthday. It turns out it’s doing pretty well, and there’s a lot more partying (and anthropomorphized socks) than you might expect in physics:
