By now, we’ve heard Adele’s “Hello” remixed, remade, and memed so many different ways that we know every nook and cranny of that poignant melody.

But we’ve never heard it quite like this.

Adele appeared on Monday night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, performing and playing games like “Box of Lies.” But an extra segment has been released to the Interwebs featuring the British singer belting “Hello” while host Jimmy Fallon and house band The Roots accompany her. But this time with classroom instruments. We’re talking xylophones, kazoos, bongos, and, yes, a banana shaker. And they transform the song from a yearning ballad to a brilliant marching band stomp, with the always-up-for-it Adele never looking more beautiful:
