This Friday (November 20) will see the release of Adele’s third album 25. It’s by some distance the most heavily anticipated musical event of the year, and thanks largely to these unprecedented levels of interest, her press campaign has been dignified and discreet. A TV ad here, a video for first single “Hello” there, and now a live performance of a second song, taped at The Church Studios in London, has been quietly released.

“When We Were Young” plays to Adele’s core lyrical themes; being faced with an old flame, and looking back on a relationship with affection and sending tributes back through time. Oh, and worrying about the passage of time.

It’s also several notches less dramatic than “Hello,” for fans of emotive range:
