The trailer for Daniel Radcliffe’s latest project—a drama for the British channel BBC2—and it seems he’s once again leading the charge for nerds, gamers and fan culture in general.

The Gamechangers is a 90-minute dramatic recreation of the story that leads to the creation of, and uncivil civic reception to, the game Grand Theft Auto.

Daniel plays Sam Houser, one of the co-founders of Rockstar Games, who find themselves riding a huge wave of popularity with the first GTA titles.

Bill Paxton plays Jack Thompson, a Christian lawyer set on shutting the games down, with their ever more realistic interpretations of both sex and violence. The drama has been constructed from court documents and interviews with many of the people involved.

Here’s the trailer:

The Gamechangers is on BBC2 on September 15.
