It was three years yesterday (September 29) that Rory and Amy Pond vanished from Doctor Who. For some fans, this was the single most traumatic event of their Whovian lives, one that still aches to this day.

But what of the two actors, Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan. Do they mark the passing years since “The Angels Take Manhattan” was first broadcast? Do they miss being the Ponds, and wonder what happened to them?

Well, the answers are yes, perhaps and yes, in that order.

And Karen, sensitive to the feelings of broken-hearted fans, had this intriguing suggestion to add:

Seven Ponds? That’s practically a lake.
