Idris Elba is keeping himself very busy these days, from his historic Maxim cover to starring in Netflix’s Beasts of No Nation this fall. (And then there’s the next Luther miniseries coming to BBC AMERICA.) But the Golden Globe-winning British actor has shown another side to his talents by channeling his inner David Attenborough, narrating the 3D BBC Earth nature film Enchanted Kingdom, which is in select theaters today and tomorrow (August 10 and 11).

The film is billed as an “immersive journey” across the seven realms of Africa. Tickets are available now. Visually, Enchanted Kingdom certainly appears lush, majestic, and storybook-like, exploring several different angles of the continent, from the “alien sands” to the “frozen spires.”

And of course, it features Elba’s sonorous voice. In this clip, Idris himself chats about the technique of narrating a BBC nature documentary:
