Fans were abuzz after the first Doctor Who trailer for the new season was released at San Diego Comic-Con, and now we have a second thrilling teaser to dissect as we await the September 19 premiere.

Yep, clearly, we need to talk about that

There’s clearly a lot to anticipate with the new season, particularly as Hettie Macdonald, the superb director of the astonishing Doctor Who episode “Blink,” was hired to helm the two-part season premiere, “The Magician’s Apprentice” and “The Witch’s Familiar.” And, of course, there’s the matter of Maisie Williams, the Game of Thrones icon who will appear in this season in an as-yet-unspecified role. Also confirmed for guest spots for in the upcoming episodes are Reece Shearsmith, Rebecca Front, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye, Elaine Tan, Neet Mohan, Bethany Black, Paul Courtenay Hyu, Joivan Wade and Sophie Stone.

And we’re also set for returns from Michelle Gomez (Missy), Jemma Redgrave (Kate Stewart), and yes, Ingrid Oliver (Osgood).

Counting down the days until September 19…
